No Dream Deferred (Season Three) is a community-anchored theater for Black liberation. No Dream Deferred, recently premiered the inaugural We Will Dream: New Works Festival at their new home, the Andre’ Cailloux Center for Performing Arts and Cultural Justice. This New Orleans festival premiered 4four new plays written by Black playwrights originating and/or working in the American South. Additionally, the festival hosted smaller festivals, convenings, and community performances by local artists, including The Self-Aware Millennial Live.
